Job summary
A leading social housing refurbishment contractor is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Nottinghamshire to oversee damp and mould remediation works across properties. You will assist the Site Manager with daily operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure health and safety compliance. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £24.91 and the potential for extension beyond Christmas.

- Liaise with tenants and stakeholders to minimise disruption.
- Conduct site inductions and maintain site records.
- Monitor progress, quality, and ensure timely completion of works.
Skills
Education
Nottinghamshire – Monday, 10th November to Christmas (temporary role, potential to extend).
Pay: £24.91 per hour (Umbrella PAYE only – No CIS).

Assistant Site Manager – support the Site Manager in overseeing damp and mould remediation works across both void and tenanted properties.
- Assist with daily site operations and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
- Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site.
- Liaise with tenants and stakeholders to minimise disruption and maintain clear communication.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain site records.
- Monitor progress, quality, and ensure timely completion of works.
- Black CSCS Card (Gold or White cards considered).
- SMSTS Certification.
- First Aid at Work.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Proven experience in social housing refurbishment, especially damp and mould remediation.
- Experience working in both void and occupied properties.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach focused on satisfaction and safety.
- Competitive hourly rate of £24.91 (Umbrella PAYE).
- Immediate start on Monday, 10th November.
