About the Team:
The Dow Jones Finance team is responsible for global financial support in four key areas: Global Financial Operations (GFO), Financial Management Accounting (FMA), Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The team covers everything from back-office functions like payroll and customer billing to tax compliance, audit management and budgeting and forecasting.
About the Role:
Reporting to The Finance Manager, FMA (EMEA & LATAM).
Responsible for several Companies based in Europe and/ or Latin America, the Financial Accountant will work with the Manager to ensure that the accounting records for the various entities under their control are complete, accurate and prepared in accordance with the relevant local accounting standards.
You will perform necessary month end tasks, ensure balance sheet reconciliations are kept up to date and perform the year end close and the statutory audit process.
You will partner with the regional Tax team in support of the tax compliance filings for the region's entities.
