A local government organization in Weston-super-Mare is looking for a dedicated Administration and Support Officer to join their Heritage and Design Team. This role involves crucial tasks such as administering purchase orders and maintaining financial records for significant heritage projects. Candidates should have good administration and finance experience, with skills in spreadsheets and project support. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced administration and support officer to join our Heritage and Design Team. The Heritage and Design Team are responsible for all aspects of delivering significant heritage projects including the restoration of Birnbeck Pier. The wider team consist of specialists responsible for archaeology, built conservation, heritage records and urban design.
The post holder will sit within the Heritage & Design Team in the Healthy & Sustainable Communities Directorate and will report to the Heritage & Design Team Manager. They will also work closely with the other members of the Heritage & Design Team and other officers from within North Somerset Council (NSC).
In this role, you will carry out a range of activities to support the Birnbeck Project.
This role is central to the successful delivery of the Birnbeck restoration project. You will be at the heart of the project team and able to be involved in all aspects of the project. For more information on the project see Birnbeck Pier project | North Somerset Council
