Job summary
An established contractor in the Power & Renewable Energy sector seeks a Commercial Manager in Glasgow. The role involves overseeing a small team, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring commercial responsibility for schemes valued between £10m and £50m. Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and experience in renewables. Qualifications
- Experience within Power / Renewables (preferred).
- Ability to oversee and direct teams effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors.
- Manage large-scale long-term substation and renewable energy projects.
- Hold commercial responsibility for schemes valued between 10m-50m.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts.
- Oversee CVR, Change Management, & Subcontractor Management processes.
- Handle dispute management & adjudications.

SSA are currently recuriting for an established Power & Renewable Energy contractor who due to a number of new contract and framework awards are looking to bring in a Commercial Manager to look after their projects as part of thier SSE & Scottish Power projects.
- Overseeing a small team of Quantity Surveyors
- Working on large-scale, long-term substation and renewable energy projects
- Commercial responsibility for schemes valued between 10m- 50m
- Overseeing and directing the CVR, Change Management, & Subcontractor Management processes
- Dispute Management & Adjudications
