A leading construction contractor is seeking a Commercial Manager for their Highways division. The successful candidate will provide commercial input, manage project costs, and ensure timely completion of projects. This role offers a competitive salary up to £95,000, along with a car allowance and additional benefits.
Qualificações
- Experience in Highways projects for a Tier 1 contractor.
- Solid understanding of strategic change management.
- Ability to ensure projects are completed on time and safely.
Responsabilidades
- Provide commercial input to Value Engineering reviews.
- Manage preparation of Target Costs and monthly CVR reports.
- Establish client supply chain requirements and advise on contracts.
Conhecimentos
Pinnacle is seeking a Commercial Manager to join a Tier 1 Contractor within their Highways division.
- Provide commercial input to Value Engineering reviews for various forms of construction within Highways.
- Support the review of tenders & cost data.
- Manage the preparation of Target Costs for projects.
- Coordinate the commercial team to ensure programme issues are identified and addressed.
- Manage the preparation of the monthly CVR and associated commercial reports.
- Report and explain the commercial progress to senior divisional staff.
- Establish client supply chain requirements & advise on alternative forms of contract & procurement arrangements.
- Maintain awareness of dispute resolution options, structure, and protocols.
- Prepare estimates & tender submissions, including interpreting specifications & preambles.
- Represent the financial and contractual interests of the employer and/or client in progress meetings.
- Recruit and retain staff effectively.
- Identify and target the needs of individuals & self for development.
We are looking for a Commercial Manager with experience on Highways projects for a Tier 1 contractor. The candidate should have a solid understanding of strategic change management and how to ensure Highways projects are completed on time and safely.
Salary: up to 95,000 + car or allowance + package.
