Pinnacle is seeking a Commercial Manager to join a Tier 1 Contractor within their Highways division.

Overview of duties:

1. Provide commercial input to Value Engineering reviews for various forms of construction within Highways.
2. Support the review of tenders & cost data.
3. Manage the preparation of Target Costs for projects.
4. Coordinate the commercial team to ensure programme issues are identified and addressed.
5. Manage the preparation of the monthly CVR and associated commercial reports.
6. Report and explain the commercial progress to senior divisional staff.
7. Establish client supply chain requirements & advise on alternative forms of contract & procurement arrangements.
8. Maintain awareness of dispute resolution options, structure, and protocols.
9. Prepare estimates & tender submissions, including interpreting specifications & preambles.
10. Represent the financial and contractual interests of the employer and/or client in progress meetings.
11. Recruit and retain staff effectively.
12. Identify and target the needs of individuals & self for development.

About you:

We are looking for a Commercial Manager with experience on Highways projects for a Tier 1 contractor. The candidate should have a solid understanding of strategic change management and how to ensure Highways projects are completed on time and safely.

Salary: up to 95,000 + car or allowance + package.
