My Cheltenham-based financial services client is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their high-calibre finance team.

This is a newly created opportunity due to growth and expansion of the company.

A qualified accountant with strong technical skills who can drive statutory reporting, accounting standards (FRS102 and IFRS), internal controls, and taxation within this rapidly growing business.

Main responsibilities:

1. Full responsibility for the year-end accounts
2. Responsibility for completion accounts
3. Budgeting, financial modelling, and analysis (support)
4. Internal Controls
5. Audit Preparation & Liaison
6. Corporation Tax
7. VAT
8. Technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and FRS102)
9. Financial Systems

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (3+ years pqe)
• Experience in a Top 20 Accountancy Firm
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and FRS102)
• Financial Modelling experience

Salary up to £50,000 and generous benefits.
