Job title: Turbine Supervisor

Contract type: International Contract

Contractual hours: Full time

Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in oil and gas production, maintenance, and renewable energy markets, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on Block 3, PALANCA in Angola.

In order to support the growth of our Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for a Turbine Supervisor H/F.

This position is located OFFSHORE on PALANCA, Block 3 in ROTATIONAL MODE 4x4.

Role includes but is not limited to:

• Direct involvement in offshore operations for turbine maintenance (Turbine MAN).
• Planning site requests and logistical arrangements for smooth production and maintenance operations, considering various constraints.
• Participating in preparation and scheduling, ensuring all materials and services are organized and optimized.
• Following subcontractors (e.g., SMC MAN manufactory).
• Liaising with third parties for troubleshooting, repair, and refurbishment activities.
• Collaborating to define strategies for expenditure optimization with subcontractors for level 4 and 5 maintenance.
• Participating in daily, weekly, and site coordination meetings.
• Providing feedback after vendor interventions and proposing improvements.

Methods:

• Analyzing vendor repairs, failure reports, and consolidating data for improvement proposals.
• Managing stock regarding spare parts, re-supply thresholds, etc.
• Proposing and justifying recommendations for equipment availability, efficiency, and maintainability improvements.
• Ensuring documentation (paper/electronic and CMMS) is updated.

Profile:

• Higher National Diploma or equivalent (HND/HNC, BTS/DUT).
• 5-10 years’ experience in maintenance on oil and gas production installations.
• Knowledge of oil and gas treatment processes and equipment.
• SAP/R3 experience.
• Knowledge of turbine MAN & Turbine FRAM 5.
• Leadership skills, ability to motivate multinational teams.
• Physical ability to work offshore in climatic conditions.
• Languages: English (professional), Portuguese (advantage).

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Required authorizations: BOSIET, Medical Certificate.
