Are you driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact? Join the executive team of Livelihoods Venture as our new Head of Human Resources, reporting directly to the CEO.

About the Role

As the Head of Human Resources, you will be a key member of the management committee, shaping the future of our dynamic, multidisciplinary team of 50+ employees across France, LATAM, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Your role will be pivotal in driving talent acquisition, knowledge management, organizational design, and operational management.

It is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven adventure and develop a large breadth of HR expertise as a functional leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and Management:
    1. Recruitment Lifecycle: Design and lead recruitment across all regions, from Project Managers to senior positions.
    2. Business Partnering: Provide exceptional business partnering to operational teams, ensuring a memorable candidate experience.
    3. Employee Engagement: Build our employer brand and engage top talent, developing hiring plans and talent pipelines.
    4. Offer Management: Manage the offer process, from verbal offers to contract preparation.
    5. Onboarding: Oversee onboarding with the support of operational managers.
  2. Knowledge Management:
    1. Information Exchange: Facilitate information sharing on organizational diagnostics and plans.
    2. Training and Development: Coordinate training plans and continuous learning opportunities for our employees and our partner NGOs.
    3. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor metrics to evaluate and enhance training and talent management programs.
  3. Organizational Design:
    1. Tools and Methodologies: Identify and address gaps in talent management tools and methodologies.
    2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management on organizational design strategies.
    3. Structure and Roles: Optimize organizational structures for efficiency and effectiveness.
    4. Change Implementation: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
  4. Operational Management:
    1. Initiatives and Execution: Develop and manage talent programs, anticipating future needs.
    2. Change Adoption: Advocate for change based on business drivers.
    3. Performance & Review: Plan and manage the company’s performance review process.
    4. HR Coordination: Oversee payroll and other HR suppliers.

Candidate Profile:

Education: Higher education degree equivalent to MSc. Field of study not essential; experience is key.

Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record. Experience in diverse cultural contexts is a significant advantage.

Languages: Proficient in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi) is a plus. Functional French or a strong desire to learn it is advantageous.

Skills:

  1. Hard Skills: Experienced HR professional with a proven track record in career management. Experience managing talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
  2. Soft Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for your role. Result-oriented and adaptable to changing situations. Open to innovation, climate initiatives, and regulatory changes. Multitasker with strong prioritization skills. Intercultural competence and ability to work in a multicultural environment. Effective remote worker, able to build relationships and collaborate despite distances.
