Une entreprise de conseil en durabilité de premier plan recherche un Consultant en Gestion pour rejoindre son équipe dynamique. Dans ce rôle, vous appliquerez des méthodologies quantitatives pour évaluer les risques climatiques et travaillerez directement avec des clients de haut niveau pour les sensibiliser aux enjeux climatiques. Vous serez responsable de la création de méthodologies d'estimation des risques financiers liés au climat et de l'intégration de diverses sources de données dans vos analyses.   • Expérience significative en risque climatique ou adaptation, avec une expérience en consulting.

ERM France is looking for a Managing Consultant (from 6 to 9 years of experience approximately) to cover its development on the Adaptation topics (physical and transition climate risk & opportunities).

Missions:

  1. Apply quantitative methodologies to climate risk and opportunity assessments, including financial statement analysis, discounted cash flow modelling, cost-benefit analysis, consider in-house ERM tools and also custom analysis.
  2. Engage directly with corporate clients, including senior leadership, to provide education on climate-related topics, and present your own analytical work and defend quantitative results.
  3. Build templated quantitative methodologies for climate financial risk estimation that can be leveraged on climate projects, with a focus on transition risk.
  4. Incorporate a wide range of data sources into your analyses including corporate financial data, geospatial climate data, academic research and industry-specific reports.
  5. Support the delivery of client deliverables by working with team members across the business.
  6. Upskill the team on French adaptation standards such as ACT.
  7. Support in leading more junior staff to drive project execution, upskill staff on the job, and lead by example.
  8. Be willing to learn how to integrate financial models into no-code / low-code third party digital platforms.
  9. Communicate findings in a digestible way, facilitating workshops and developing relationships with clients regarding their transition to a low-carbon economy.
  10. Support business development and sales-related activities, including assisting senior leaders to draft client proposals and develop new offers.
  11. Contribute to ERM’s innovation and knowledge-sharing through ad-hoc involvement in thought leadership, internal newsletters, learning sessions, amongst other initiatives.

Profile:

  1. You have completed higher education in major engineering schools, business schools, political sciences, or in a university.
  2. You have a significant experience of at least 5 years on Climate risk or Adaptation, with some experience in the consulting business.
  3. You have a strong appetite for climate and sustainability topics in general and wish to develop further your technical and commercial capacity on this topic.
  4. You enjoy teamwork.
  5. You are interested in digital solutions dedicated to ESG topics, and have experience with some market players.
  6. You can technically support consultants on Corporate Sustainability projects, and be client-facing for project delivery and initial business development.
