Assisting Project Managers in the delivery of construction projects in France.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Assisting Project / Programme Managers in delivering high quality services and ensuring that project management and / or programme management deliverables meet customer requirements
• Assisting in the delivery of high quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures
• Supporting project implementation
• Administering contracts as contract administrator, employer’s agent, or project manager
• Producing and presenting to customers
• Supporting the preparation of bids for services
• Ensuring all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of checks
• Remaining within the scope of your role

About You

Who we’re looking for :

Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills

• Some experience participating in building construction projects in France
• Understanding of project management tools and techniques
• Initial knowledge of construction procurement methods, including tendering, contracting strategies, specifications, and acquisition
• Understanding of legislation impacting building contracts
• Knowledge of health and safety basics applied to the construction industry
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
• Methodical thinking and approach to work
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills
• Proficient ICT skills, with high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams
• Proficiency in French and English
• Based in Paris with some travel possible

Qualifications

• Bac+2 or equivalent in Building Engineering, Architecture, or similar
• Engineering School, BTS, DUT, or Technical Professional License
