Your responsibilities

  • In this demanding role, you will be responsible for the support and further development of your customer portfolio in all commercial and technical matters
  • Your area of responsibility includes the acquisition of new business and the development of the existing product range
  • During the product development and creation process, you advise our customers in close cooperation with our experts from engineering and R&D and create tailor-made and convincing offers
  • Continuously analyze the market conditions, price levels, recognize trends, create strategies and actively contribute to the achievement of operational goals as well as to sustainable corporate success
  • Assure that the General Industry Offering Strategy is communicated and applied in the defined focus areas
  • Execute the strategic goals for further profitable business growth in General Industry focus markets

Our requirements

  • A university degree or similar level in engineering
  • Knowledge of the production and application of elastomer or plastic products are required – preferably gained in the Industrial or General Industry market environment
  • We look forward to a purposeful, communicative and customer-oriented personality with a high affinity for the elastomer sector
  • Ability to go after new opportunities in the General Industry market and close business wins together with new and existing customers
  • Good analytical, technical and financial skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally, good team player and self-starter
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • You work from your home office or out of one of our sites in Germany or Switzerland and travel for customer visits, conferences and within Dätwyler
  • Fluent written and oral English skills (Level C2), basic knowledge of German and/or Italian is very welcome
