We are looking for Project Developers for a global energy leader, the number one producer of wind power, and one of the world's biggest electricity utilities in terms of market capitalisation.

Job Details:

1. Office based role in one of the regions (North, South, West or East Germany). Remote work possible with at least two days presence in the office (if no other trips are required to the sites).
2. Identification of suitable project areas, negotiation with landowners and acquisition of areas for renewable energy projects, coordination of external land agents.
3. Responsible for the development of wind and photovoltaic projects as well as coordination of our external development partners.
4. Establishing the project structure, coordination of project scheduling, responsibility for project documentation and management of the whole project development cycle until ready to build.
5. Negotiation and support in the drafting of leasing, utilisation, design and urban development contracts with landowners and authorities, relying on legal and technical teams.
6. Close contact with community representatives and other political and planning authorities, representation of the company and presentation of the project to promote the project and obtain necessary commitment, including accompaniment of urban land use planning, coordination of the building permit procedure.
7. Management and coordination of internal and external stakeholders: authorities, corporate specialists departments (technical planning, purchasing, sales, etc.), suppliers and service providers (environmental reports, building planning, etc.), energy supply companies (grid connection).

What We Are Looking For:

1. Several years of professional experience in the development and acquisition of development projects onshore wind and/or PV in the German market.
2. Extensive network in the wind and solar industry and excellent knowledge of the market situation in Germany, especially in the regions of Brandenburg.
3. Team player with an open sales personality and a high degree of initiative.
4. Excellent negotiating skills, assertiveness, and a responsible working style.
5. Enthusiasm to work in a fast-growing company, willing to take decisions and form processes.
6. Sound experience in the evaluation of wind energy and/or PV projects in all development phases.
7. Knowledge of real estate law and environmental law would be an advantage.
8. Strong willingness to be mobile.
9. Native German and fluent in English (Spanish will be valuable).
10. Driving license (at least class B).
