Are you analytically sharp, keen to make a difference? Would you love to take on the challenge to drive customer demand for some of Amazon’s most diverse and challenging product categories?

Amazon is looking for a Snr Business Intelligence Engineer (m/f) for our EU Consumables division with a relentless focus on understanding our customers to improve their experience.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide transparency and analyses of the entire customer journey, across channels, aligning with other EU teams for benchmarking.
• Conceive, execute, and report on initiatives to drive repeat, new-to-store, and new-to-consumables customers, including Prime members.
• Set up automated and regular reporting for key metrics to identify actionable insights (e.g., dashboards, frameworks).
• Deep dive into insights to develop strategies and actions to increase customer engagement (adoption, frequency, advocacy).

A day in the life

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Category Leaders, and Business Leadership to analyze customer behavior and identify insights to improve CX. You will also work with data scientists, data engineers, and analysts to build solutions that provide real-time insights and dashboards.

About the team

Consumables Customer Experience (CCE) team focuses on making Amazon the fastest, most convenient place to buy consumables, aiming to simplify online shopping and save customers time, effort, and money.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience programming with large data sets (multi-TB)
• Knowledge of experiments and statistical analysis
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL
• Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and data mining
• Experience working with business stakeholders
• SQL expertise
• Data visualization skills (Tableau, Quicksight, etc.)
• Experience in the BI/data space

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing and communicating results to senior leadership
