Job summary
A leading energy solutions company in Berlin is seeking an experienced accountant to handle ongoing accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and collaborate on tax-related processes. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration, at least 3 years of finance experience, and excellent MS Office skills. Responsibilities
- Handling ongoing accounting tasks for multiple entities.
- Maintaining and reconciling accounts with a focus on accounts receivable.
- Collaborating with internal and external experts on various tax-related processes.

- Handling ongoing accounting tasks for multiple entities
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Maintaining and reconciling accounts with a focus on accounts receivable (including dunning processes)
- Collaborating with internal and external experts on various tax-related processes
- Preparing VAT advance returns
- Creating outgoing invoices
- Supporting the implementation of new tools and systems in the accounting department
- Documenting and further developing internal compliance processes
- A degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting or a commercial vocational qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in finance preferably with a focus on accounting
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel) experience with ERP systems and ideally with finance-related software (e.g. Power BI JIRA Salesforce)
- Good to very good English skills
