Job summary
A hospitality service provider in Calgary is seeking a Front Office Staff member to assist in ensuring smooth operations. The role involves providing courteous service while supervising front desk activities and ensuring guest satisfaction. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a full service hotel and demonstrate competence in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel. A knowledge of local attractions is also beneficial. Weekend and shift work may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a full service hotel.
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, OPERA PMS system.
- Knowledge of the area and surrounding attractions.
Responsibilities
- Assist Front Office Manager and staff ensure smooth operation.
- Provide efficient and courteous service to guests.
- Supervise front desk staffing levels based on business activity.
- Maintain room security with effective key control.
