A progressive non-profit organization is seeking a Client Service Administrator to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. The role involves direct contact with clients, managing inquiries, and performing various office tasks. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications, plus a minimum Grade 12 education and related experience. Training will be provided as necessary. Open Door Group (ODG), a trailblazing non‑profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for a Client Service Administrator to join our team!
Salary: $24.76 to $26.38 per hour (Grid 5, Health Sciences Association Community Bargaining Agreement)
Status: Casual
Hours of Work: Up to 36 hours per week, on an as and when needed basis. There are no guaranteed hours of work in this position, however, there will be an initial training period where the successful candidate will work close to full time hours. Following this, casual staff are required to provide availability such that they are able to work a minimum of 225 hours over any 12 month period in order to maintain employment status.
Location: The primary work location for this position will the Open Door Group Sechelt location.
The Client Service Administrator is the primary point of contact for customers visiting and contacting Open Door Group centers. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience to a diverse clientele by providing a warm welcome, effectively navigating clients to appropriate services, responding to inquiries, supporting service applications, and orienting clients to the center's resources.
The Client Service Administrator also plays a critical role in supporting the center's operations by performing administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining resource centre information, scheduling appointments, answering, and directing incoming calls. This role may also provide support by covering the duties of the Administrative Assistant if operationally required.
