Manager, Finance (Secondment Contract)

Location: 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, Toronto

Salary: $73,027.00 - $127,554.00 annually

Secondment/Contract: Duration up to 12 months.

Reporting to Senior Manager, Policy & Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for end-to-end financial management of complex wholesale order transactions in accordance with IFRS, LCBO and Government policies, guidelines, and legislation.
  • Provide direct oversight, assistance, and monitoring of department processes including reconciliations, adjustments, claims and returns.
  • Manage, supervise, and provide leadership to B2B Service Representatives including assigning and coordinating work.
  • Oversee and resolve customer and supplier escalations regarding invoices, payments, claims, returns and non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on continuous improvement to identify and recommend new or redesigned systems, processes, and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance or Business Management/Administration and/or completion of a professional accounting designation.
  • Progressive experience in a computerized financial environment conducting financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, or other related duties.
  • Ability to apply knowledge, problem solve and use sound judgement in conducting and understanding results of financial analysis and in preparing comprehensive reports and making recommendations.
  • Leadership experience managing people and building productive teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, organizational skills, and ability to negotiate.
  • Demonstrated technical competence with MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other financial systems and office automation equipment.
