What you will do :
- Provide customers with professional, approachable, and informative service on all products (plumbing and lighting)
- Identify customer needs and provide consultative, solution-based service
- Collaborate on design planning with tailored recommendations for contractors and customers
- Develop quotations, process sales orders, and manage deliveries and returns
- Respond to customer inquiries and pursue new opportunities
- Resolve concerns and issues promptly
- Offer product knowledge and information to customers in a professional manner as the first point of contact
- Respond to customer communications via in person, phone, or email
- Prepare small order quotations for urgent contracting jobs
- Pick customer orders from the warehouse
- Conduct product research using catalogues and online resources
- Verify product availability for customer orders and schedules
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Maintain stock levels at the counter as needed
- Assist in warehouse tasks when required
What you will bring :
- A flair for design or a background in design is preferred
- A high level of commitment to exceptional customer service
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Computer proficiency is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the plumbing or lighting industry is an asset
- Post-secondary education in Business or a related field is preferred
