Position Summary:

This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of high-stakes projects that require a high level of coordination and integration. You will be a driving force behind our project management practices, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage a program of automation projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals. Drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities effectively.

· Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

· Cost Management: Maintain a sharp focus on cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maximizing value. Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

· Technical Interaction: Collaborate with highly technical teams to understand, challenge, and make informed decisions. Ensure seamless integration of technical solutions into project plans.

· Supplier Management: Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors involved in the project. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality.

· Process Improvement: Identify internal process gaps and develop comprehensive processes to improve project management practices. Implement best practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

· Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations and company policies.

· Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance.

· Executive Reporting and Documentation Governance: Ensure the creation and maintenance of precise, project documentation that aligns with organizational standards. Deliver clear, concise, and timely project status updates, dashboards, and performance insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and strategic alignment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

· Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.

· PMP certification is highly desirable.

· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, managing Main Automation Contractor projects or EPC technology-based projects.

· Proven track record of managing complex programs and delivering successful outcomes.

· Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of automation systems, control systems, and integration processes. Ability to interact with technical teams and make informed decisions.

· Prior experience working on metro-rail projects is an asset.

· Supplier Management: Demonstrated experience in all aspects of supplier management including negotiations, contract management, quality, and technical compliance.

· Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop effective solutions to enhance project management practices.

· Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

· Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable mindset.

· Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all project-related activities.
