A Canadian frozen food manufacturer is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy and oversee all accounting functions. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and proficiency in ERP systems, with 4–6 years of finance experience preferred in a manufacturing environment. The Director will manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, contributing to strategic decisions and team development.
Our client is a Canadian, family-owned frozen food manufacturing company.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an experienced Finance Manager ready to step into a Director-level position. The Director of Finance will be responsible for executing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring profitability, and maintaining compliance. This role includes direct involvement in operations and requires a balance of strategic oversight and day-to-day financial management.
Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager, the Director will oversee all accounting and finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and ERP systems. The role also includes managing a small team: Cost Accountant, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Payroll.
