A leading staffing agency in Fredericton, NB is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to oversee key financial processes and enhance operational efficiency. The role requires a post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA designation. Candidates should have at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience and advanced Excel skills. An interest in process improvement or Lean Six Sigma is also beneficial. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
5 years of progressive accounting experience in a senior or supervisory role.
Process improvement experience or Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
Responsabilités
Support month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy of financial accounts.
Prepare and present financial statements, cash-flow analyses and performance reports.
Conduct accounting research and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Oversee preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
