A recruitment agency is seeking a Hybrid Accounting & Finance Manager for a leading firm in the commercial real estate finance sector. The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, manage accounting staff, oversee cash flow, and handle annual audits. A Bachelor's degree in finance and CPA designation are required, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience. The role offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth.

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting a HYBRID ACCOUNTING & FINANCE MANAGER for a leader in the Commercial Real Estate Finance Industry located in downtown Toronto, ON.
Our client is a well‑established organization in the commercial real estate finance sector, known for its professionalism and long‑standing presence in the Canadian market. The company offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Prepare financial statements and investor reports for senior management on a timely basis (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Manage accounting staff including setting team goals, providing guidance and delegating tasks.
- Responsible for daily fund cash management, including preparation of daily cashflow projections and analysis.
- Responsible for managing the fund debt facilities, including extensions as required, draws, repayments, and reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually).
- Responsible for managing annual financial audits on multiple entities.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Minimum 5+ years’ relevant experience in industry.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (Sage preferred).
- Superior written and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and under time pressure.
- Experience in commercial real estate accounting and/or finance an asset.
