A renewable energy company is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist to lead land agreement execution and support complex projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in real estate development. The position offers competitive compensation of $108,000 to $118,000, comprehensive health benefits, unlimited PTO, and additional family support, fostering a flexible remote culture.
Intersect has been a fully flexible workplace since its founding in 2016. We’ve been very intentional about the way we do things. We are not work‑from‑home, hybrid, or in‑office – we are any and all of those options! Deepening social connections and offering shared experiences is a cornerstone of the way we work. We connect as a team at our Team Week experiences four times a year and at our recently established Hub locations – SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, NY; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Calgary, AB; and Toronto, ON.
We are currently looking for candidates located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs to foster more in‑person connections while maintaining our flexible remote culture.
As part of Intersect’s Land Acquisition team, you’ll help secure site control for multiple large‑scale projects by navigating complex real estate workstreams with speed, accuracy, and strategic insight. You’ll collaborate across Development, Permitting, Legal, and field teams to translate evolving project needs into executed agreements that keep projects on track. This role demands agility, strong technical competency, and the ability to operate confidently amid ambiguity while maintaining high standards of data integrity and stakeholder communication.
This team plays a critical role in advancing Intersect’s mission to accelerate the clean energy transition by identifying, securing, and managing the land positions that enable our large‑scale projects to move forward. The work is highly cross‑functional, fast‑moving, and essential to project success.
