As a key member of the Pelmorex Weather Source (PWS) team , your mission is to ensure our products achieve market fit and commercial success. Working closely with leadership on our overall strategic direction, you will identify and then define, own, and evangelize the product vision and roadmap that brings our business strategy to life. In our lean, agile environment, this is a hands-on leadership role. You will be expected to not only lead the product strategy but also roll up your sleeves and contribute directly to the product lifecycle when necessary, mentoring your team through direct example and collaboration.

Please note we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and are currently located in the Greater Toronto Area.

• Own the Vision & Strategy: Define, own, and evangelize a compelling product vision and roadmap across our three strategic pillars.
• Lead and Develop a Team: Manage, mentor, and develop our existing product managers. You will be responsible for building a world-class product management discipline, setting clear goals, and fostering career growth.
• Lead by Example: In our lean, agile environment, you will be expected to be hands-on. This includes directly owning elements of the product lifecycle, such as writing specifications, managing backlogs, and working directly with engineering squads on key initiatives.
• Drive Execution: Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Architecture leadership to translate the product roadmap into actionable plans. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of products and features, making strategic trade-offs when necessary.
• Master the Market: Become the expert on our customers, our competitors, and the market landscape. You will spend time with customers, analyze the competitive space, and use these insights to ensure PWS builds products that win.
• Align the Organization: Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to define and execute a cohesive go-to-market strategy, including pricing, positioning, and sales enablement, ensuring the entire organization is aligned around the product vision.

• Proven Product Leadership: 8+ years of experience in product management with 2+ years in a leadership role managing other product managers.
• Hands-On Leadership: You are as comfortable defining a multi-year strategy as you are writing user stories and managing a backlog. You lead by example and are not afraid to get into the details.
• B2B Data/Platform Expertise: Demonstrated success leading product strategy for complex B2B products, specifically in enterprise SaaS, PaaS, API-first, or data analytics.
• Commercial Acumen: A track record of taking technical products from concept to market, with a deep understanding of product-market fit, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
• Deep Technical Fluency: This is a cornerstone of the role. While you are not an engineer, you must possess the ability to: Confidently engage with senior engineering leaders to understand their cloud data stack (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and articulate how PWS products fit into their architecture to deliver value.
• Demonstrate deep experience managing APIs as products, with a strong understanding of developer experience, documentation, and the commercial aspects of an API-first strategy.
• Understand the strategic role of data lakes/warehouses in an enterprise and the fundamentals of how data products are consumed.
• Exceptional Communicator: You can articulate a compelling vision to the executive team, inspire your product and engineering teams, and clearly explain the value of your products to customers and sales.
• A Builder's Mindset: You thrive in an environment where you are empowered to build new things—from products to processes to teams.
• Bonus Points For: Deep familiarity with the modern cloud data stack (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, Azure).Experience in the retail sector, particularly with demand forecasting or marketing analytics.
• Passion for or experience with weather, climate, or geospatial data.
• Experience in or a strong understanding of the AdTech/MarTech landscape.
• Experience working with products built for technical users and developers.
