Job summary
A leading North American energy company is looking for a Co-op student to join their team in Alberta. This role offers experience in industrial automation, cybersecurity, and data analytics, with responsibilities including maintaining AVEVA PI systems and troubleshooting data flows. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an Engineering program, has strong analytical and communication skills, and is eager to learn. Qualifications
- Completion of at least one year in a post-secondary Engineering degree program and still enrolled.
- Analytical skills to identify potential problems related to position responsibilities.
- Ability to work effectively with others to resolve issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in AVEVA central PI historian maintenance for reliability efforts.
- Support troubleshooting of data flow issues between control systems.
- Provide assistance in monitoring control systems across the fleet.
- Help apply system hardening practices to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Support implementation of security configurations and compliance.
