Are you a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator looking to work with an active Developer in Toronto as a Senior Project Coordinator?

You will be responsible for assisting the project manager with all duties from design working drawing process through construction phase to close out. If you are strong with managing change orders and can coordinate, control, and evaluate construction projects from start to finish, then this company needs you! If you have 5 years of previous experience working as a project coordinator with a Construction Manager, Developer, General Contractor, or Design Build firm, then read on;

• Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control, and change order administration.
• Prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor progress against established timelines, and review specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Maintain contracts with complex subcontracted scopes and subcontract administration, including answering inquiries and monitoring progress.
• Participate in reviews of subcontractor submissions for compliance with scope, design documentation, and coordination with other disciplines against the design documentation prior to forwarding to the design team for review.
• Perform basic quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting, and change management at project close out.
• Consult with designers/engineers when reviewing drawings and suggest value-added alternative construction methods or materials.
• Assist site manager in project start-up activities.
• Complete and maintain project documentation (administering RFIs, shop drawings and submittals, maintaining as-built drawings, etc.).
