Job summary
A leading company is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant/Receptionist in Etobicoke. The successful candidate will support the dentist in various procedures, manage patient bookings, and ensure effective communication with patients regarding their insurance and appointments. This role offers flexible hours and a competitive compensation based on performance and experience.
Qualifications
- Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant.
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures and handle instruments.
- Book and confirm patient appointments.
- Sterilize instruments and manage insurance submissions.
Skills
Our client is looking for a Dental Assistant/Receptionist in Etobicoke, Monday to Thursday.
- Experienced Level I or II Dental Assistant
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience
Bloor St West / The West Mall area
(Hours to be discussed and are flexible)
- Monday 7-7
- Tuesday 7-8
- Wednesday 7-7
- Thursday 7-5
- $TBD depending on experience and performance
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, hand instruments and materials
- Sterilize instruments
- Assist with restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, fillings, extractions, root canals, wisdom teeth removal, implants, etc.
- Place and remove rubber dams
- Take and expose dental diagnostic x-rays
- Use suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures
- Take preliminary impressions of teeth for study models
- Book and confirm patient appointments using dental software
- Handle insurance submissions and predeterminations
- Collect payments
