A municipal government agency in Oxford County is offering summer student positions at the Woodstock Museum. These roles include a Summer Camp Assistant, Camp Team Leader, Visitor Services Assistant, and Curatorial Management. Students will be involved in a variety of tasks including overseeing programs for children, assisting with museum operations, and contributing to exhibits. This opportunity provides valuable experience in a supportive environment, enhancing both skills and community involvement.

Help bring local history to life at the Woodstock Museum! The Woodstock Museum National Historic Site strives to interpret the past, present and future through conservation, education and exhibition of local history. The Museum offers a variety of different work experiences in an interactive, inclusive, and supportive environment. Students are given many responsibilities and opportunities based on their experience to learn and develop new skills.
Work with camp instructors to help deliver a fun and supportive camp experience for kids aged 5-12 that helps enhance healthy child development through safe, stimulating and positive activities.
Oversee and facilitate camp programs for kids aged 5-12. Responsible for campers while off site, greet parents before/after camp, and interact community partners.
Welcomes visitors to the Museum and assists with processing memberships, museum promotions, special events and daily operations.
Conduct research on collections and exhibits, documenting and entering information into collection database, assist with the setup and installation of exhibits including moving historical artifacts.
