Mechanical Engineering Technician
Job summary
A manufacturing company in Edmonton seeks a candidate to assist in mechanical inspections, design of tools, and conduct analysis of materials. This role requires 1-2 years of related experience and a College/CEGEP education. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are essential. The work is onsite and focuses on mechanical installations within a supportive environment for diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in mechanical installations and construction projects.
- Ability to assist in design and preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with performing mechanical tests and analyses.
Responsibilities
- Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
- Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications.
- Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures.
- Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses.
