Drayton Valley has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in their active rural hospital. In this position you will provide care in 32 Acute Care beds and a 24-hour emergency room, delivering comprehensive health care services for patients. The facility also includes community outpatient programs such as endoscopy, rehabilitation services, dialysis, a cancer care centre, laboratory and diagnostic imaging. Working within a multidisciplinary team of compassionate and dedicated health care professionals, you will utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide direct patient- and family-centered care to clients across the life span. You will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, quality care following policies and guidelines of Alberta Health Services. Drayton Valley is located in the Central Zone, about 133 km southwest of Edmonton and 172 km northwest of Red Deer. The area offers amenities such as libraries, theatres, recreational facilities and outdoor activities.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while ensuring safety and well-being.
