Independent Project Manager Associate — PMP Path
Job summary
A leading financial institution in Toronto is seeking an Associate to provide advanced project support within the Business Management team. You will manage smaller projects with limited oversight, support larger programs, and analyze business processes. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to obtaining a PMP certification. This role requires initiative and independence to drive project completion and deliver results.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in project management or related roles.
- Proven track record of managing smaller projects or significant workstreams.
- Commitment to pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced support to major programs, including project planning.
- Independently manage smaller projects from initiation through completion.
- Prepare and deliver project updates to stakeholders and management.
