Job summary

- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical care to patients in need.
- Assess the patient’s condition and provide necessary treatment such as administering medication, performing CPR or bandaging wounds.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals including paramedics, nurses and doctors to ensure the best course of treatment for the patient.
- Safely transport patients to the appropriate medical facility while providing ongoing medical care during transport.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, your team and the patient.
- Keep up‑to‑date with the latest medical techniques and procedures through continuous education and training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an EMT.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts and be on‑call as needed.
