They are responsible for providing professional customer service and advising clients on necessary car repairs or services while ensuring that all services are performed promptly and meet quality standards. The role requires an understanding of automotive systems, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage customer relations to enhance the service experience. As the ambassador of service operations, the Service Advisor plays a crucial role in building customer trust and ensuring satisfaction, often through the accurate identification of vehicle issues and the coordination of required services.

1. Greet customers and listen to their needs and vehicle concerns attentively.
2. Gather accurate information about the vehicle's history and current issues.
3. Communicate clearly with customers regarding the repair processes and service status.
4. Prepare detailed cost estimates for repairs and service operations.
5. Schedule vehicle maintenance and repair activities efficiently and effectively.
6. Liaise with technicians to ensure timely and correct service execution.
7. Update customers promptly about any changes or additional work required.
8. Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each vehicle serviced.
9. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints professionally.
10. Promote additional services and products necessary for vehicle functionality.
11. Coordinate with the parts department to order necessary parts for repairs.
12. Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.

1. High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education in automotive technology preferred.
2. Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive service industry.
3. Understanding of basic automotive mechanics and technical concepts.
4. Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
5. Proficient in computer software systems used within automotive service settings.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multitasking effectively.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations adeptly.
