Job summary
A leading technology services firm is seeking a Senior Infosec Engineer to support its UAE operations. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in IT Security, with proven skills in administering security tools, managing Windows server firewalls, and handling SOC incidents. The position requires participation in internal audits and security initiatives, and the role is full-time without remote work options.
Qualifications

- Experience managing Windows server firewalls.
Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot security tools.
- Manage SOC incident responses and workflows.
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews.
Skills
VAM Systems is currently looking for Senior Infosec Engineer for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Security.
- Administering and troubleshooting IS tools and applications.
- Managing Windows servers firewalls and endpoint security.
- Handling SOC alerts and incident response.
- Conducting internal audits and compliance reviews.
Detect prioritize and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities. Generate and export weekly vulnerability reports. Highlight persistent issues with relevant teams for remediation.
Threat intelligence and prioritization.
Administer and maintain IT security infrastructure. Perform troubleshooting upgrade and ensure operational readiness.
Provide Level 2 SOC expertise especially for incidents involving Microsoft allied solutions. Oversee SOC operations and incident response workflows. Apply ITIL and SANS-based methodologies for incident lifecycle management.
Conduct and oversee Infosec reviews as directed by the manager. Participate in ISR internal audits across IT systems network and enterprise solutions.
Support ongoing IT security initiatives and projects. Collaborate on dashboards scorecards and automation of data refreshes for vulnerability and risk metrics.
