Job summary
A global engineering consultancy is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves overseeing mechanical work for the Common Seawater Supply Project and managing a team of engineers and designers. The ideal candidate should possess over 15 years of experience in engineering, specific expertise in oil & gas industries, and strong communication and leadership skills. The position promises an engaging environment where high standards are expected in project delivery.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in professional engineering, ideally in oil & gas or water industries.
- Must have worked for at least 3 years as a Senior Engineer leading a project team.
- Demonstrated competence in reviewing deliverables prepared by mechanical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Engineers and Designers within the discipline.
- Ensure effective communication between all mechanical team members and other disciplines.
- Monitor overall productivity and coordinate with the project team to resolve problems.
