Retail IT Leader: Infrastructure, Security and POS
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the company's IT infrastructure and systems. This key role involves managing hardware, software, and networks to support business operations, enhance customer experience, and ensure retail efficiency. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, especially in retail. Strong leadership and cybersecurity knowledge are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
- Solid understanding of retail systems: POS, ERP, inventory management, and CRM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and data protection best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage all in-store and back-office IT systems, including POS and ERP.
- Ensure reliable and secure network and server infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect customer data.
- Supervise IT support staff and coordinate helpdesk support.
