About the Role:

As Vice President and Head of Direct Sales, you will lead the strategic growth of Retail Banking products through the in-house direct sales channel. This role reports directly to the EVP & Head of Customer Acquisition and is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be responsible for driving acquisition of Personal Loans and Credit Cards, managing a large sales force, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Retail Products (Credit Cards and Personal Loans), set KPIs, and lead a team of Business Development Managers, Team Leads, and Relationship Managers.
  • Drive acquisition through company tie-ups, outdoor sales, and innovative sourcing channels. Monitor performance and ensure monthly targets are met.
  • Guide teams to manage customer portfolios, deepen relationships, and identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies across all sales practices.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure accurate booking of business, and maintain compliance with anti‑money laundering and other regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Build team capability, foster development, and maintain high competency levels.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
