A luxury hotel in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a skilled CDP – Pastry / Cake Artist to join their culinary team. The ideal candidate will excel in pastry arts, showcasing strong artistic skills in cake decoration. Responsibilities include preparing desserts, designing cakes for events, and collaborating with the culinary team to meet high standards. Creativity and prior experience in a luxury setting are essential.

- Previous experience as CDP – Pastry or Cake Artist in a luxury hotel or premium bakery.
- Strong skills in fondant work, sugar craft, and modern cake-design techniques.
- Creativity and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries and specialty cakes.
- Design and decorate cakes for events and bespoke guest requests.
- Assist in menu creation and maintain hygiene standards.
Skills
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative CDP – Pastry / Cake Artist to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pastry arts, possess strong artistic skills in cake decoration, and demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality desserts and bespoke cakes that meet luxury standards.
Prepare and produce a wide range of pastries, desserts, and specialty cakes.
Design, sculpt, and decorate cakes for events, celebrations, and bespoke guest requests.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation in all pastry items according to brand standards.
Assist in menu creation, seasonal offerings, and dessert displays.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
Support the Pastry Chef in daily operational tasks, training junior staff when required.
Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Previous experience as a CDP – Pastry, Cake Artist, or similar role in a luxury hotel or premium bakery.
Strong artistic talent and proficiency in fondant work, sugar craft, piping, and modern cake-design techniques.
Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert plating.
Creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
