Skilled in analysis of offshore operations (e.g. OrcaFlex for pipelay lifting); offshore survival/BOSIET (knowledge).
Experience (Years): 5 years (Engineer level).
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of offshore construction processes, pipeline tie-ins, riser installation, subsea lifting, heavy transport, and relevant calculations (lift rigging, stability, dynamic motions).
Brief Job Description:
Performs detailed engineering for offshore installation methods. Carries out installation analyses for rigid pipelines and cables (shore pull laying, catenary dynamic analysis for spans), designs rigging and lifting arrangements for module installations, calculates barge stability and motions for loadouts, and assists in writing installation procedures and job cards. Ensures installation engineering deliverables meet project and safety requirements.
