Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose & repair vacuum cleaners, washers, hair dryers & small domestic appliances.
- Identify faulty components & replace or repair them as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs, including parts used & time taken for repair.
- Provide technical support & guidance to customers regarding appliance usage & care.
- Stay updated with the latest repair techniques and advancements in appliance technologies.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and safety protocols.
- Workspace organization & ensure tools are well maintained.
- Assist in training new & junior technicians.
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limit as per company policy & standard.
- Monitor service parts & proactively inform the supervisor or Line Manager when the stock is at a minimum level.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- Established work experience in appliance stores.
- Proven experience in repairing small home appliances (vacuum cleaners, washers, hair dryers, etc.).
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical components & troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools & repair equipment.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers & to provide technical support.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals & schematics.
