Site Supervisor – Joinery & Carpentry

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor – Joinery & Carpentry to manage and supervise on-site execution of joinery, carpentry, and interior fit-out works. The role requires strong hands‑on experience in site coordination, manpower supervision, quality control, and installation of custom joinery and interior finishes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE experience, solid knowledge of joinery installation methods, and the ability to coordinate effectively between site, factory, project management, and subcontractors to ensure timely and high‑quality project delivery.

• Supervise daily joinery, carpentry, and interior fit‑out activities on site.
• Ensure installation works are carried out as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Manage and monitor carpenters, installers, subcontractors, and site labour.
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure productivity targets are met.

• Ensure all joinery and fit‑out works meet required quality standards and finishing expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of installed works including:
• Cabinets, wardrobes, kitchens, wall panels, doors, and custom furniture
• Decorative woodwork and fixed furniture
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Draftsmen, and Factory Teams.
• Verify site measurements before fabrication and installation.
• Ensure smooth coordination between joinery workshop production and site installation.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and other trades to avoid clashes and delays.

• Plan and organise daily and weekly work activities.
• Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to management.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower on site.

• Ensure compliance with UAE site safety regulations and company HSE policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work site.
• Enforce safety practices among workers and subcontractors.

• Maintain daily site reports, manpower records, and progress updates.
• Assist in inspections, snag lists, and handover processes.
• Support preparation of as‑built and final handover documentation when required.

• Strong knowledge of joinery and interior fit‑out works, including installation methods.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, layouts, and technical details.
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, hardware, and fixing systems.
• Familiarity with site coordination and sequencing of interior works.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor in joinery and carpentry projects.
• Experience supervising both factory‑produced joinery and site‑installed works.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering, Interior Fit‑Out, Carpentry, or related field (preferred).
• Trade background with strong experience will also be considered.

• English

• Ability to work in UAQ and across UAE project sites if required.
• Immediate availability preferred.
