Join AECOM's Graduate Program

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer you will be an integral part of our Utilities team contributing to the design of infrastructure and land development projects across UAE involving fluid mechanics hydraulics and water supply. This role offers exposure to strategic initiatives as well as involvement in infrastructure projects supporting mega initiatives in the region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams and project models under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Apply design and technical knowledge to produce high-quality outputs within project timelines.
  • Assist in maintaining project budgets and schedules under supervision.
  • Collect and analyze information from discipline-specific and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
  • Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
  • Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure design continuity.
  • Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
  • Ensure the quality of BIM/CAD model production by reviewing for accuracy.
  • Actively seek information, contribute to problem-solving and drive efficiencies and effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to solve atypical engineering challenges.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
