A leading UK bank in the UAE is seeking a Head of Operations (Senior Vice President) to oversee technology integration, client onboarding, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, driving operational leadership while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. This role offers a competitive compensation package.
The client is a UK-regulated bank. They focus primarily on foreign exchange and cross-border payments.
The individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing technology integration, client onboarding, client servicing, and the first line of risk management, all while ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory standards and alignment with group policies. The role is a member of the Exec Committee.
The Head of Operations is responsible for ensuring and managing a single lifecycle, performance and outsourced delivery of the technology estate and operations, onboarding and first line risk management.
Key areas of focus include operational leadership, oversight of outsourced services, collaboration with the CTO to align on technology platforms, integration plans, and cyber-resilience, client onboarding and servicing, governance and regulatory compliance, and recruitment and training for the entity.
