As a Junior Graphic Designer (m/f/d), your speculative application can show us how you would contribute to the success of our clients as a valuable member of our creative team.

Design Creation:

• Assist in creating visual content such as logos, brochures, banners, advertisements, social media graphics, and other marketing materials.
• Follow design briefs and adhere to brand guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback from senior designers and clients to refine and improve designs.
• Make revisions and adjustments to designs based on critique and project needs.
• Ensure all design files are properly named, organized, and stored.
• Prepare print-ready files and ensure they meet the required specifications for production.

Project Support:

• Support the design team in various stages of the project, from initial concept to final execution.
• Assist in preparing presentations and design proposals for clients or internal reviews.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Work closely with senior designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

Software Proficiency:

• Use graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma and Canva to create and edit designs.

Educational Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma: An associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field. Alternatively, a certificate from a recognised design program.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Design Software: Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools like Canva or Figma.
• Basic Understanding of Web Design: Familiarity with web design principles would be beneficial.
• Typography & Layout: Understanding of typography principles, font pairing, readability, and layout.

Creative Skills:

• Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in design work.
• Basic Knowledge of Colour Theory: Understanding of colour schemes, colour matching, and the psychological impact of colours.
• Basic Understanding of Branding: Knowledge of branding principles and the ability to design within brand guidelines.

Experience:

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including personal projects, school projects, or internships.
• Internships or Work Experience: Some experience through internships or freelance work can be advantageous.
