Job summary
A luxury resort in the UAE is hiring for a pool attendant role to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the pool area. The ideal candidate will greet guests warmly, oversee pool safety, and ensure cleanliness. A high school diploma is required, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor the pool area to ensure safety and comfort for all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations in a courteous manner.
- Set up and maintain poolside furniture, including chairs, towels, umbrellas, and tables.
- Assist guests with pool-related inquiries or concerns, offering recommendations or guidance as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the pool area by picking up trash, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
- Take guest orders, provide recommendations, and deliver drinks promptly.
- Respond promptly to guest needs, such as providing towels, or ensuring seating arrangements are comfortable.
- Monitor pool area for any safety hazards and address any risks promptly.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to management and follow appropriate safety procedures.
- Ensure the area is compliant with health and safety regulations, including pool hygiene standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
