QA/QC Inspector

Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities & Duties :

Conducts and / or participates in company quality or technical compliance audits for Contractor, Subcontractor or Vendors.
Reviews the contract documents for each Construction stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures and advise the Project Manager of any deficiency.
Reviews QA/QC Procedures and document control as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure implementation is in compliance with the AGREED requirements.
Reviews Inspection, Test, Plans as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure compliance with AGREED requirements.
Attends all activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedure in respect of the format signed off by Contractor s QA/QC Manager.
Ensures traceability of all materials and equipment from purchasing and up to delivery on site.
Checks all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials and specification.
Closely monitor site activities, fully coordinate with Project Manager / Project Engineers, on a daily basis issuing NCR s in case of non-compliance and reporting to Project Manager in case of shortage of skilled labourers and/or site supervision staff.
Participates in assessing concession requests and field Design Changes as submitted by CONTRACTOR.
Participates in reviewing the Close Out Report as submitted by CONTRACTORS.
Coordinates with all disciplines/CONTRACTOR for QA/QC.
Ensures that CONTRACTOR establish and submit a Project-Specific Quality Plan which maintain and measure CONTRACTOR s compliance with AGREEMENT s ANENEXURES as well as the Technical Specification.
Performs other tasks as needed.

Academic & Trades Qualifications :

Proven working experience as a QAQC Engineer
Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
Advanced MS Office skills
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Capable of reviewing existing operations within an organisation through all the project phases.
Current engineer license
Time management and organization skills
BS degree in Engineering or relevant field
