Job description

Black & Grey HR is actively recruiting for a prominent facilities management company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Supervisor - Agriculture will be accountable for the successful implementation of landscape designs that meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental objectives. The role ensures projects are completed within budget and schedule while adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Supervisor - Agriculture plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration among various stakeholders and contributing to the overall success of the project team.

Responsibilities : - Conduct site analysis and surveys to understand the topography, soil conditions, and environmental factors.

  • Develop comprehensive plans for landscape maintenance projects, considering factors such as plant health, soil conditions, and climate.
  • Execute and manage the implementation of landscape maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Create detailed landscape plans, including hardscape and softscape elements, irrigation systems, and sustainable design practices.
  • Design, install, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution and conservation.
  • Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and plant requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of landscape maintenance work, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Implement improvement strategies to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces.
  • Integrate eco-friendly and sustainable practices into landscape designs, such as water conservation and native plant usage.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials.
  • Monitor expenditures and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in landscape architecture and engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in landscape, agriculture, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications are preferred.
  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance and project management.
  • Strong understanding of soil conditions, plant health, and climate impacts on landscapes.
  • Proficiency in designing and managing irrigation systems.
  • Ability to conduct thorough site analyses and develop comprehensive maintenance plans.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budget management and timeline adherence.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster collaboration among various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of eco-friendly and sustainable landscape practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in landscape architecture and engineering.
  • Candidate who are immediately available will be given preference
