We're seeking an experienced Senior E&I Engineer to join our (Early Production Facility) project in Dubai.

Location: Dubai, UAE

Contract Duration: 12 months

Project Type: Early Production Facility (EPF)

There may be visits to Kenya

Job Knowledge and Experience
  • University Degree in ECI Engineering, OR, relevant technical qualification and industry experience.
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry. Familiar with upstream oilfield electrical, instrumentation and control systems technology for both onshore and offshore applications.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of software.
  • Previous experience with Early Production Facilities or modular equipment packages in a fast-track environment. Understanding of Engineering and design for DCS/ESD/PLC/F&G systems, RTU/SCADA systems Experience in Electrical protection for LV & MV system and designing LV systems.
  • ECI construction supervision in onshore or offshore oilfield environment.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other engineering disciplines to prepare/check/manage ECI engineering deliverables on assigned projects (design basis, philosophies, instrument selection, load list, SLD, studies/reports and recommendations, and so on).
  • Prepare detailed equipment technical specifications for ECI equipment (field instruments, analysers, ESD valves, motor operated valves etc), and, provide discipline input on technical specifications for static equipment packages and rotating equipment (pumps, generators, compressors etc).
  • Visit vendor workshops and client offices to participate in KO meetings; expedite progress; resolve technical issues and perform in-progress inspections, FAT’s and final inspections.
  • Support proposals group with technical input as required, including discipline manhour estimates, technical description of ECI equipment/systems with associated cost estimates.
  • Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance
