Job Overview: The Accountant – Financial Reporting is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records by performing general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, supports audit processes, and collaborates with other finance functions to ensure the integrity of financial data. The position plays a key role in supporting the financial reporting process and contributes to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the finance department
Key Responsibilities:
About you: The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:
Education:
Experience: 1–2 years' experience in financial reporting and GL close; strong grasp of financial controls and governance; operationally strong with a customer-centric mindset; ability to multitask in fast-paced environments. Prior experience in finance shared services and the Middle East is preferred.
